Great pub for people that enjoy a relaxed, quiet sit down in comfortable, friendly surroundings. Charming old pub on a beautiful, historic little lane in a stunning seaside town. There's always a nice pint here.

Lovely cosy old school boozer  with a great selection of beer.  Perfect refuge after a chilly  walk along the prom.

This place is propper class. So old and authentic. Small but perfect. Absolutely steeped in history. If you like pubs do not miss out if your passing through. Just a quick pint to get a feel of the place, absolute must.

Like going back in time. Proper pub, no food just drinks. Fantastic fireplace and good bar staff.

Proper olde worlde back street local. No food, no hot drinks just great local cask beer and an old time atmosphere. Tucked away, it's well worth tracking down.  It's the real deal in Deal and it's real Deal.

We came in for a drink, stayed longer. Max the Spaniel was welcomed and watered. Good to see a local pub, that hasn't become a trendy bar. Thanks for your kind hospitality.

Always enjoy a family get together when I visit my parents, love the atmosphere, even better if can sit out in the beer garden
