Some teachers care, but only some. Assignments are a mess and barely anything is explained at all. When things are explained, they aren't explained well at all. Our class hasn't had a room for one of our classes almost all year and has had to do online classes. Absolutely dreadful. I thought this was the norm but I have a friend on a similar course to me and they have had a way better experience and are appalled about the things I've told them.
Do not apply to work here. On behalf of an individual who recently worked at the college, they had suffered targeted harassment by other members of staff and ultimately lost their Job as a result. The HR team has no regard for individuals and will openly ignore any complaints sent in if it does not suit them. A toxic work environment with a disgusting attitude to employees working under a prohibition period.
Try to explain. Some thing. To. That Stephanie and. She was nasty. And put. The phone. Down on me. I wasn’t nasty. Or abuseive I just wanted. To know what was. Happing. I don’t understand we done nothing. Wrong and now I can’t get through
I am delighted with Sheffield College’s Revive and Beauty Therapy Services. You get greeted by an amazing member of staff -,Revive Administrator, Erica. The experience enhances as you meet Paula and Kerry, the tutors. The Revive students are all so helpful, so well trained and very professional. The team is just so wonderful and so understanding. I can definitely say that the staff and students at Revive at the City College have helped me so much that I can’t praise them enough. I want to say a big thank you to Paula and Erica especially for their help. I feel more confident & happier. Visiting Revive is definitely a special experience for me. Thank you to the team at Sheffield College Revive & Beauty Therapy team. .
Really awful place visited for an open night, website information, tickets a farce signing in on lap tops, can't believe how rude a member of staff was, she should of looked up realised her victim was with an adult. Girls waiting for ticket holders as folk waited in a queue, poor welcome. Really un organised once inside sent to the 2nd floor, not welcoming. Empty tables mess, no direction. Postives we left alive never to return.
I had today. interview.On19 July.at 4 pm There is no any help me.. I lost my interview and course
Please give a class to Chris mangham. I'm very disappointed that I don't have any chance to have a class with him. The best teacher I have ever seen in my life. It was an honour for me to have Chris as a teacher. Encouraged me to tick my goals. I missed him. He organised all the classes which is good for the college but it's not good for me. Be bless Chris mangham.
I tried to take an English language course in the past two years and I was not accepted, and every time I tried to explain my problem by calling or going to the college, but no one listened to me. Also note in the call, when the receptionist knows about your weak English, he talks to you with accent. I lost two years without learning
Awful. The college doesn’t care about the students and will even blame you for doing all your work on time and for having 0 work to do. I chose a course here it was a level 3 diploma for IT because I was told on their website that I would be doing a computer games development course which is something I am heavily interested in only to get told that we aren’t doing it. We also were supposed to have a trip to the National computer museum last November which we were told 3 days before the trip that it wasn’t happening because the college forgot to book any transport. Also in my 1st year, we were forced to resit an entire exam because the college somehow “lost” our exam results. The college doesn’t care about the students and only cares about what will make them money. The higher ups are acting like headless chickens and need replacing before this joke of a college goes bankrupt. It’s not fair on any students dedicating 2 years of their time to a college where the staff do not care. The teachers are amazing and actually have knowledge about the subjects they are teaching but they do not care about tutoring any of the students.
Good college overall tbf but definitely wouldn't recommend some courses because you could end up in class full of people with way higher needs and be treated like a absolute spaz/ 2 year old but would recommend other courses with people that don't have high needs I do think that's where this college goes wrong putting people with the wrong type of people they need to take higher steps to stop this.
