One of the best sea food restaurants, about 10 years ago it was voted best in the UK. Great food, depth of flavour. We had calamari, Tiger prawns, cockles and then fit stew, tomatoes based with mussels, squid and seemingly half a whale of white fish. It is folksy, not grand surroundings but the prices aren't that folksy. Call me a crank but I like linen napkins if I am not in a cafe.

Really nice food, had the john dorey fish and chips and was cooked well and tasted delicious. Also had the fennel and apple salad which was very refreshing and tasty.

Real fish and chips, over looking the harbour at Porthgain. Good service and a selection of local beers

Excellent, primarily seafood restaurant in popular and picturesque village. Booking highly recommended. Free parking within village.
