Staff are wonderful, lovely friendly service. Food out of this world, beef brisket is soft and tender, such a lovely bbq taste to the chicken. The nachos were very tasty. Highly recommend the Harbourmaster if you're looking for a dish Laden with meat and tasty flavours.
Go for the ribs. Good smokehouse style grill restaurant. They also have corona on tap, which is pretty rare. The fried prawns and buttermilk chicken are also pretty good.
Best nachos I've ever tasted! Delicious food, very generous portions and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. If you're not feeling particularly hungry then one starter is probably enough! As late evening walk-ins, we were warned there would be a wait for food but our food still arrived much quicker than anticipated. It's obviously very popular so best to book a couple of days in advance. I'm a fussy eater and could have eaten everything on the menu. We went back several times during our stay. Highly recommend!
Nice place to visit with different seating areas inside and out on balcony. Good service today and lovely food and drinks . Parking: Plenty of free parking
Great location, food very good. Sunday lunch particularly nice. Staff always friendly & happy to help. Great for couples, and larger gatherings. Lots of choice re menu suits all tastes.
Me and my farther went out for his birthday meal and it was absolutely amazing we,have been many time before but the staff we had Hope and Ashlee they were incredible and I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone great service and amazing food. You also have to try the cocktails thank you everyone we have had the best evening amazing to chat to you all I hope the people I have mentioned get the praise they deserve. Thank you Harbormaster we will be back soon
Did not book so arrived on spec. Just after opening. Waitress told us to sit at end of the bar yet place was nearly empty. Gave us menus and told us what wasn't on the menu and muttered domethjngabout psying at thd bar. Then decided that her mates were better value so spent 10 mins chatting to them. No offer of drinks no welcome so left and had a very friendly greeting and good service at another restaurant nearby. Would not bother again as customers are clearly a too much work.
Nice upper level out door patio. Good selection of drinks. Just a shame no food is available between 2:45 and 5pm - huge wasted opportunity. It’s an issue across all food places nearby. Menu and the specials looked really good, shame none available. Will try again during the hours when food is available.
We were looking forward to some BBQ food at the Harbourmaster, but we were both a bit disappointed with the service, atmosphere and food. There is no music here at all, just a muted TV playing BBC1. The lighting is too bright and the room has a ‘canteen’ feel about the place. Food arrived and was supposed to be served wit slaw amongst other things but were told after the food was delivered that they “ran out, sorry”. The food was too dry and really needed the slaw. Only saving grace is that they missed a round of drinks off the final bill!
We had a lovely meal with you tonight. Our grandaughter didn't feel well but Hope one of your staff was so kind and caring she couldn't do enough for us bless her. She really is a credit to your staff such a lovely young lady. We will be back.
