Great places to visit with or without kids. We went on the only dry day of the week. I love how big the enclosures are for the animals and we saw just about all of them. The crepes next to the park were great but it's a long wait to get one. The gift shop had a good variety of gifts and a good selection at pocket money prices.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Absolutely loved our visit to the deer centre, it definitely exceeded our expectations and is much bigger than we thought it'd be! They allow you to feed the deer not all of them, signs will tell you which ones you can't and that is such a fantastic experience, really cool to see them run to you and follow you around! The Deer Centre is a great day out for families. Kids loved seeing all the animals and feeding some deer. The play parks for the kids are good. Not to expensive for family of 5 would say it's better than going to a zoo even with it having less animals. The only downside is the toilets they need updated and cleaned regular.
Fantastic place to visit with family. Plenty of parking spaces available. Friendly and helpful Staffs. Tractor ride was wonderful. You can also feed deer's. Right outside on the main road. Lot of places for BBQ. Recommended to all.
Pay what you can at the door with suggested donations, the person at the door was very approachable and they seem very accommodating for anyone worried. Lovely day out for us and a 15 month old. Plenty of space to run about for kids and nice sheltered locations. Plenty of places to have a seat. Tree top walk was amazing! Animals are well looked after and highly recommend watching some of the feeding times/tours with knowledgeable staff presenting. For anyone wondering why the RAF Buccaneer exhibit is £15, you get your photos taken and you also get a print of the aircraft. Highly recommend and will be back in the summer!
Amazing my 3 year old Loved it so much to do and see, staff are so lovely too. And was great to be able to go in for free, i paid a small amount as went a week before and was definitely worth the money. Theres a cafe there and food is lovely , we take a picnic as plenty places to eat it on site.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
Weather worked against us when we visited, it was 28°C and the animals were all seeking the shade. Since the new owners have taken over almost every plank in the park has been renewed. New fences, hides, houses and play equipment. They've made one of my favourite places in Scotland better and it's a real credit to everyone involved. Didn't expect to see an RAF jet so massive bonus . I especially enjoyed seeing the wild Haggis up close
It was a lovely day out and I am glad I tested my daughter for her birthday as I am disabled I was able to go around in my mobility scooter . All the staff from entrance through to the gift shop they were all so friendly. I have wanted to go around the deer park since moving to Scotland and with the pandemic I at last got the chance . Would I come again? YES
Hadn't been since a primary school trip! Was a bit concerned for the welfare of the Wild Haggis as I only saw one. My daughter loved it, lots to do/see with loads of space and being able to take in your own picnic is brilliant, until you see the train bbq and want to eat from there as well. Will hopefully be back over the holidays.
Went with my daughter and mum we all absolutely loved it so much to see and do. Feeding the deer was amazing. Tickets prices are great value. Will definitely return in the future.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
