My wife and I have enjoyed dinner at the the Salterton Arms time after time, we particularly like our food served on a hot plate, if we are eating a hot meal, so many places get this wrong. A friendly atmosphere, nice staff, we are not sure about the TVs, or the gaming machines. But we do like background music, which is not disappointing at the Salterton.

Staying nearby and fancied a pub meal. Great food for both kids and adults. Went after 6pm as it is free to park in the town then. Thursday was really quiet but Friday night was completely different. Several tables were reserved and there was only one left upstairs. Service was still quick and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely would come again.

Smallish village pub set just off the main street. Good range of cask ales on the bar, including one from Otter. Full meals are available too, we had a toastie each which I can thouroughy recommend as they are large, well filled, and come with chips and salad. Slightly cramped interior with TV showing sports at rear.

VERY SLOW SERVICE. Surprisingly quiet on a Sunday lunchtime. Food was tasty but nothing special. A selection of local draft beers. Pepsi, but no coke. Dog friendly. There are 3 big TVs on the wall all showing sports (football when I was there) which was fine for sport lovers, but really dull for the rest of us.

A nice, comfortable local pub with live sports on the TV and live music- unfortunatly, somtimes both at the same time!! Always seem to manage to get a seat here. Staff Ok, but do not always appear the most cheerful, unless you're a regular.
