Every time I visit this branch there is so much meat in the fridges that has turned grey, this hasn't just happened once, that you could put it down to a mistake, but it consistently happens in this branch. Considering how high their prices are, you'd think they could keep on top of this and actually offer good quality produce.
On Friday morning, the 16th December I drove to the Co-op to buy a few things. I was wearing boots and trying to be very careful not to slip on ice. The High Street was very clear so I visited a few shops there. On my return, I approached the Co-op car park to go back to my car. I tried to keep to the clear parts but because most of the car park was not salted, I stepped on a patch of ice near my car which I could not avoid to return to my car and slipped very badly. I hit my head, right arm and leg as I fell over. Some Good Samaritans stayed with me until I felt okay to go to my car but I was shaken up. When I visit the Sainsbury's car park in Heathfield, it is always completely free of ice and people are able to walk without fear of falling and slipping. Why is it your car park is the one that is never salted properly after it snows? It doesn't cost alot of money to buy some salt or sand. I feel really disgusted that this has happened to me when I tried so hard to be careful and just yards from my car, I slip on the ice. There were huge patches of ice still left in the car park so please do not tell me it was an isolated incident. There have been many more people slipping as a result of your organisation not clearing your car park so customers are safe. If you do not care about your customers' safety thenI do not care to shop there anymore. You can rate a store on how they treat their customers as well as the food they buy there.
For some odd reason this Coop is more expensive than the close by Sainsburys and Waitrose in many many items...perhaps they should pice check the other 3 supermarkets which are all within 8 mins walk of this location...
Clean and spacious, also had full shelves!!!, unlike some of the other suppliers.
Can find most everyday food and household items here. Store is clean and well lit. Easy to navigate.
No one working on the tills except the tobacco till. Must be having serious supply chain issues as half the stock was missing. Friendly staff but extortionate prices even with cost of living issues. Will avoid.
this place is too expensive unless you earn 80k plus a year dont shop here if your on minimum wage or have a job at mcdonalds or you will have no money at the end of the week and probably have only half a baguette and a can of beans with how expensive there prices are! on a real note this place is too expensive just shop at tescos better prices and better people.
Renovated. A better range. Staff generally helpful. Convenient to pick up delivery of Amazon. Easy parking. However it’s almost impossible to buy plastic free vegetables or fruits. And no fish at all in the shop despite the size.
Large car-park and fairly good sized store. Odd store layout, not easy to find what you are after. Lots of self service machines which is good.
Always clean & tidy. Staff on shopfloor rarely acknowledge you until you get to the tills. Always had good service at the till point but have been in many times when there weren't enough tills open or, and I find this surprising at 8.30 in the morning, the only till open is the cigarette kiosk! Generally a good shop but not great.
