Dining at Royal Spice – We guarantee our guests the finest Indian food in the most exhilarating, comfortable and prestigious surroundings. Our Chefs use only the finest herbs and spices and can create dishes to your specification while we specialize in Kashmiri Cuisine. Our range covers the food from the whole Indian subcontinent. The Royal Spice is a favourite with lovers of authentic indian food and since it opened 10 years ago it just keeps getting busier. In the last ten years business has really boomed and owner Zaff Hussain says its all down to its first class food and excellent service. Royal Spice at Station Road Darton can accomodate 150 customers in its two attractive dining rooms and most weekends is full and the atmosphere buzzing so its advisable to book.

Sunday Buffet – We have also introduced the sunday buffet which is proving extremely popular. It’s available from 2pm to 10pm and for £6.95 diners can eat as much as they like. For children up to 12 its only £4 which means the whole family can enjoy a fantastic meal for less than £25 – probably the best value for miles around. The buffet offers 3 starters and 5 main courses plus pilau rice and nan bread, and customers can eat as much as they can. Its a great way for people to come and sample our food and find out how good it is.

Functions – The restaurant has two dining halls one at either side of the central lounge area. The largest of the two has a raised stage and dance area and can be used for private functions such as weddings anniversaries, parties etc and Zaff can help plan the menu. There is no charge to hire the room and customers can arrange their own dj and entertainment.The smaller dining room is also spacious and features a large, specially designed fountain which is obviously a talking point with customers. The lounge bar is a comfortable area where diners can sit with a pre dining drink while browsing the menu or take their coffee after a meal. Smoking isnt allowed in the dining room but customers are permitted to smoke in the lounge.
