Welcome to the official page for the Tandoori Hut restaurant, operated and maintained by the restaurant management.

Purpose built and opened in 2009, Tandoori Hut stands unrivalled in both decor, size and standard. With capacity for over 200 guests, our venue includes a lounge/cocktail bar, an upstairs function room, a VIP dining room for private parties and is fully accessible for disabled guests.

We have a large private car park, including 3 marked bays by the front doors for disabled guests.

Situated on the main A61 Wakefield Rd at Staincross, we are approx 3 miles from Barnsley town centre and approx 7 miles from Wakefield. Visit our website for a detailed map.

Took a while to get a table, was really busy. It was a beautiful place, love the decor. Food was great, good prices.
My 1st Visit & it wont be my last. It was megga busy but the staff was coping admorally. Restaurant is lovely with a nice feel. Toilets where spotless , wish they had one upstairs though which is my only negative. Staff were very pleasant, prompt with service and very proffesional. Food was excellent beautifully presented, nice & hot, spiced to perfection and the taste was fabulous. Thankyou all we will definatly be returning

A beautiful meal in a luxurious setting. Staff were brilliant with us and the children, especially with how busy it was and getting us a table at the last minute on a busy night after we had been let down elsewhere. Really enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the service. Thank you. Can’t wait to come again, as a family or as just a couple. Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs available and really good with children
What can I say about this place.....but amazing! There was 9 of us altogether on New Year's Eve and the service was great, after ordering drinks and them arriving the waiter then took food orders, everything was prompt and couldn't have been better. The food was fantastic, the naan breads were over 2ft long and are cooked fresh. We had a mixture of different dishes but we all thought very highly of the food. We'll be definitely returning for another visit.
Beautiful place. Food Brill. Staff very very nice. Just need to leave ya alone a little while before ordering main meal. They was asking while we was aving poppadoms. Ask after not during. But was very polite though. Decor class. To me beats all of em in Bradford. Which supposed to be the main place in Yorkshire.Service: 4/5
I always love tandoori hut and they always try to accommodate where they can for my dietary requirements. I had the veg korma but vegan when I visited the restaurant on the 19th and later found out while placing a take away order that it wasn't possible to make a korma vegan... this was slightly concerning as I am vegan for medical reasons but the alternative dish was lovely.
Beautiful place, friendly staff and great atmosphere. I ordered tandoori livers as a starter. Livers tasted old and was a bit of a let down. My chicken and spinach was very sweet and a struggle to eat, as a bradford man I have quite high expectations when it comes to curry. Thank you.Food: 3/5
