A lovely local pub with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. This pub has a pool table and dart boards and has TVs around every corner showing football, rugby or just sports in general, great for sport enthusiast's. There is a large outside space with a large screen, plenty of seating and a log burner for those chilly evenings. There is plenty of car parking space. This pub also has a large Marquee which is used when there is a big event, which are always a sold out success! This pub is dog friendly and children are welcome up to around 9pm. The facilities are always clean. This pub is also available to hold your own personal event such as a birthday party or funeral wake, just speak to Zac Landlord or Mikki Manager who are always so friendly and helpful. This pub is a beautiful old pub with character and personality. The locals are welcoming and the staff are excellent. Overall, a rare gem in the middle of this little town.

Coming from Liverpool I'd like to think we know our pubs. This is right up there with the best. Zak and his team are so welcoming. Ps. Thanks for the lift back to Pickpocket Hall.

Great beer, great company, welcome feeling great pricing

Great pub, dog friendly and really well fitted out. The outside area is great, fake grass and cool wooden  outbuildings with string lights. Pool table and dart board too. It's a sports bar too  so there's tv's for that. No food served here so don't turn up expecting a nice steak.
