I visited the Royal Oak last week and had an ultimate burger. The food is something else, it’s on a whole new level very delicious. I got served by Vanessa a very cheerful and lovely worker at the Royal Oak! It has a very homely feel and the beer garden is always amazing in the summer especially when it’s band night I recommend the Royal Oak highly to anyone who has not been before!!!!

First time visit today to The Royal Oak, having passed many times before but not stopped off to check it out and give a review before.nnThe staff member who served me at the bar was polite, happy and friendly - giving a warm welcome from the start. Everyone else working here give off the same impression too.nnMusic at a comfortable level, temperature and light all just right for a great relaxed visit.nnOutside at front and back, there is tonnes of space to sit. With sheltered spots for that British weather.nnOnly one small note for improvement, but doesn't impact my visit at all. Could do with getting one of the Gents toilet door locks repaired and the soap dispenser. There was soap there in a bottle on the side though.nnVery glad popped in here this afternoon just for a drink this time, will definitely return again and try some of the food too as looked delicious! Thanks for the nice experience.

Visited the oak last week and had the sea bass meal which was absolutely gorgeous, all the staff were really friendly and helfpul, especially Vanessa who served me. Very hard working and friendly. Can't wait to visit again. Lovely atmosphere every time I visit!

I enjoyed my Sunday roast; the beef was cooked properly and tasted good. I do not eat much, but it felt like the food was not a lot for the price; I could have eaten a second and finished it. Next time, I think I will go with a set menu comes  with a starters and desserts. The service was good thank you Amanda.
