Attended today on a whim, I was nearby and the smell was lovely, like a fish bar at the seaside.nSaw they had a lunchtime offer on of £6 for mini fish, or kebab or pie with chips, sauce and a drink. Great value!! Kids meals are £4.50 too, which is very reasonable too for the portion.nI don’t like spicy food but enjoy curry sauce, they offered a taster with a couple of chips which was perfect, super yummy very flavourful and not spicy, more tangy.nI opted for mini fish and chips lunchtime special and got a battered sausage and chips for my son.nThey also offered a roll the dice, get a 6 and get your lunch for free. We got a 5, but happily paid anyway.nIt was all very nice. The staff were friendly, shop was very clean and welcoming. Food looked fresh. The fish was cooked to order but still quick.nReally enjoyed my lunch thanks. We’ll be back again!
Expensive but nice, Gluten free also.nnAsked for the chips to be well done usually would be pale white. Golden is king.nn£14 Large Fish and chips small curry sauce, more like a normal size. dribble of curry's sauce in a small pot. portion size should be better.
Best Fish and Chips I've had for years, a couple of revisits and still a great quality and value Chippy can't recommend enough, added photos as back again still fantastic food and service.

In fact, the mini cod and chips is more than sufficient for a serving, as I believe you may end up with more chips than you intended. Freshly prepared and consumed within ten minutes of takeaway, the fish, chips, and mushy peas were exceptionally well-cooked and flavorful. My fiancée, who typically avoids dishes other than sushi, thoroughly enjoyed her’s with a standard serving of salt and vinegar.nnThe individual who prepared our meals was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We engaged in a delightful conversation about local and foreign topics, covering both lighthearted and more serious subjects, as if we had known each other for a long time. We ordered 1 large fish & Chipsn1 small fish& chips both with peasnAbsolutely delicious all cooked fresh.nWe sat on the window seat & waited .. worth the short wait !nWe drove a short way parked the car in the nature reserve & opened up the boxes The food was so hot It burnt our mouths ! This was in Halesowen shop.
