Our party of five adults and one child arrived for breakfast at the Hop Pole on a Saturday morning. We could find a table for 6 relatively ok and sat in the light drawing room at the front of the pub. The rear can be a little dimly lit. We ordered from the varied menu and service to the table was fast and efficient. An activity sheet and crayons were available for my young son. The food was hot and tasty. The only downside was one of the two self serve hot drinks machines was out of order. This led to a huge queue at the remaining one and, even though we were entitled to refills, we didn't bother because of the wait.

Lovely atmosphere, I've always felt welcome when I've been in. Really friendly, approachable staff and unbeatable prices, highly recommended. They have such a wide selection of beers and ales on draught, some that you would never expect to see. (Punk IPA & Hop house 13) Two of my favourite beers. Great for the family and a lovely garden as well. Money well spent.

Stayed for 2 nights, free parking which is a bonus although the car park was pretty full. We stayed on the top floor, lovely views of the Malvern hills and a good size clean room with tea/coffee making facilities, the bottled water was a nice touch. Excellent food, we had breakfast each morning and an evening meal which we couldn't fault. Staff are pleasant and helpful, all.in all we had a lovely time and will return later in the year.

No knowledge of the hotel service provided as have never used it. Can speak very highly of the restaurant aspect however. Firstly, quality is pretty much guaranteed as the place is a Wetherspoons. The menu is wide and can cater to all, and the service is brilliant. There is also lots of outdoor seating by the canal, which is perfect for the summer. A paid car park is present round the back, but you can also park anywhere in the surrounding vicinity as it will be a short walk through Tewkesbury regardless.

Only called in for a drink as we have a boat in Upton. They were so busy but always a lovely,friendly atmosphere. Such a lovely area.
