Don't waste your money! We had a couple of wraps with chips and side salad. £8.95 and it wasn't good. About half a dozen oven type chips and a tasteless wrap! My son had the ploughman's which was a bit better £12.95 but we had to send it back because...you'll like this...they'd sent it out without the cheese! So including a round of drinks £45 all in and we were less than impressed. And the place is falling down. When sat in the garden, you can see the top/attic window pane is missing and a piece of board stuck over the top. The tiles have slipped in quite a few places including the bottom left, particularly where the gutter is and it's hanging on for grime death. The planters are rotten and half filled with old, dying plants. Peeling paint, outside benches are in desperate need of some stain, etc! It's turned into a typical Green King pub when it used to be the place to be! I'd avoid if I were you..
Treated my Mom and Dad to a belated Father’s Day Sunday Roast and the good, service and environment was exceptional. The portions were epic and the quality of the food delicious, the waiter Terry and waitress Beth were polite and well humoured and went the extra mile to serve us. The manor is very quaint and the beer garden, with the shaded taverna on a hot summers day, was bliss to relax in afterwards. Will be returning very soon
Relaxed evening meal. Food had improved since our previous visit. We asked to move to a quieter table, which was done without fuss, but meant service was affected as we were a little hidden. Parking: Limited spaces allocated for disabled parking.
Made our own atmosphere as we was with family who had travelled from Cornwall. Food was not the best and even though they had questions why a meal had not been eaten didn't reduce the bill. I had risotto and to be honest I could have cooked better myself. Such a shame as at one time is was such a nice place to eat. Expensive evening out for food which was not up to scratch, therefore would advise people to avoid.
Sunday Roast Beef with pan gravy with red wine. 3 vegetables. Pudding was peanut-butter cheesecake and a mixed Berry Waffle with vanilla ice cream . Very friendly staff, quick service and dog friendly dinning in a separate area to the restaurant. Ambiance a little noisy but it is a family pub.
Fantastic pub. We had a lovely meal, albeit quite pricey. Atmosphere was delightful with open fire. 3 course menu available. Food was tasty. High chairs available for children and baby changing is in the disabled toilet. Pleasant staff, very polite and considerate. Dog friendly. Kid-friendliness: It's not really for children but they do accommodate.
Driving to Cheltenham looking for a place to get lunch with an elderly parent. Disabled parking bay very convenient and good access for wheeled walking support. Lovely welcome. Super quick service which was great as we were on a schedule. Really nice facilities. Great choice on the menu. We ordered from starters and light lunches which were ample sized portions and reasonably priced. Delicious food, hope to return in the future.
We had our daughters Christening gathering at the pub and everyone was fantastic. Megan was so helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend for a private function 100%.Food: 5/5
Very disappointed with the food we had yesterday! 14.95 for a bowl of chips with some chewy steak and 6:95 for the smallest piece of tart know to man! Wouldn’t be eating here fever again!Food: 1/5
First time at this establishment, a little chilly in the area we sat in but it certainly didn't spoil it. Cheerful staff nice food.... Happy bunny!Food: 5/5
