Visited this site many times mainly as shortish stopover on the way to/from the southwest coast. Well cared for but just one gripe. The washbasins in the loos are fitted with hand sensor taps which are fine for washing hands but totally useless if you need a full basin to have a wet shave. No doubt some bright spark thought this was a good idea to save water.!!!??
Lovely site, close to town, busy, but quiet apart from the hourly chimes from the cathedral. Nice facilities, well maintained site with lots of wild flowers around the hedges. Relatively easy access from the motorway.
Lovely clean site as always with the Caravan & Motorhome club sites. The pitches appeared to be a bit closer together than normal, some other visitors not adhering to site etiquette re walking through people's pitches. 2 nights enough to see the pretty Abbey & town. Some lovely riverside walks & an Aldi within walking distance. Quite pricey now sadly.
Beautiful location. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Large field to exercise your dog. It was also very practical that the shower / toilet block was closed between 2pm and 3pm, rather than late morning. We will look forward to revisiting.
Great location for Tewkesbury Abbey and town centre.nGood dog walks off site but unfortunately nothing on site. Staff very friendly, site kept clean, toilet blocks are cleaned on a daily basis at good times aswell, overall will go back.
