Husband and I went to Roxy several times during our stay in Toronto. Nice open space. Bar, pool tables, food and games. Service at tables is just okay. Good food. Specifically the need and cheese rolls. We also tried the fried pickles, really food. And pizza was just okay. Overall great place to hang out and grab a drink.
I loved it. Nice vibe, good food, busy but not crowed Saturday night. If you plan to play pool I suggest you to call and reserve in advance, otherwise it will take a while to get a table. But they also have lots of games to play. Strongly recommend.
This is literally the most laid back jig on King Street. The food is decent and the drinks are nice. Happened to try the gin based London calling, it was ok but felt like something was missing. The chicken sandwich is punched in with thyme and the steak spring rolls is East meets West.
There are a few tables here if you want to grab a drink and/or food. It’s mostly for playing the games they have. There’s a bunch of board games at the front as well as several pool tables, foosball, and table tennis. I think the pool was $20 an hour.
Great bar for social gathering with TONS of Pool Tables. They have a Ping Pong table in the back nestled in its own corner. Cozy and lively, a great place to visit any day of the week.
Great music, chill atmosphere. Made a great starting point for date night and would be a good place to hang with friends.
Good place to move your hands on pool table and have some drinks and bites ... their tables goes out to quickly so if you don't wann a go home without playing book it advance or arrive early ...
Good place for a team event, great options on tap, great food and good service. Excellent overall.
We had a group event here in late February. The venue was reasonably clean and the staff well organized for our event. The individual drink prices were outrageous and would definitely not recommend this place based solely on the beverage prices. The staff were polite and relatively timely for service requests. Would definitely come back here for another group event to rent Pool or Ping-Pong tables.
As far as servers go, Hannah is an absolute gem. Attentive, funny, and ON. THE. BALL. Beer selection is fine if you only drink whats trendy....but if you know what you like, you may not find it on the menu. Plenty of good whiskey and cocktails to keep you happy. Cool basement feel with good music, pool tables and relatively clean washrooms.
