Lots of fun to be had here at reasonable prices staff super friendly and helpful. Golf and bowling is lots of fun it’s always nice to come here when on holiday.
Quintessentially English, charming, perhaps a tad grubby, perhaps shabby chic, but for us as we mostly visit in the journey between autumn and winter a perfect place to shelter with the family as the showers pass over. Not the longest pier you'll meet and not the prettiest, but we'd not miss it when we come to the island.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
There is good entertainment inside for your typical British seaside holiday with different arcade games. However the area and the pier itself needs a refurbish. The facilities are old and run down, I did not like walking on the pier and swiftly exited because I felt uneasy on it due to the state of the buildings surrounding it. The toilets inside the pier definitely need improving as the toilet seats are all old and discoloured, plus you have to pay 20p to get inside them. Reckon they need to put that money towards doing them up.
Very pretty view! A little run down in certain places but still great fun!Visited onWeekend
Really Nice walk along the pier, its has on the pier arcade attractions, cafe and some kids fair ground rides, the end of the pier is cash only. The cafe along the pier do hot food and take away coffees etc. It was nice to walk along with a hot drink, the staff was friendly working, looked clean and tidy. The kids enjoyed taking photos in the funny pictures along the walk.
The five star review is for the lady who worked on the food stall at the front of the pier horrible day windy weather ordered some food and drink my son is in a wheelchair she came over to tell us we could get on the pier in his wheelchair and let us eat our food inside out of the cold the rest of the beach front is falling apart even the toilets aren't open but the lady in the food kiosk is the best advert this seaside can have hope your town council read this
I thought this pier was great fun. It’s got absolutely loads to do. Hundreds of different machines to play on grab machines , Penny / slots .. arcades.. it’s got bowling lanes , crazy golf , cafes and rides at the end of the peri. Well worth a visit :
A lovely pier, open late and has loads of arcade machines on there. We had a lovely meal in the cafe on there as well. It's a lovely walk late at night with the waves crashing on it. You can stand at the end with a lovely view back to the beach and everything's all lit up
Never has so much been done for so little : A true charity protecting and fighting for our oceans. Amazing marine conservation work.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Some good old school arcades and some beautiful doughnuts
