Lovely bar. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend the food, particularly the salads and the fish platter!

I really like this place it brings back happy memories. I just wish the tables were a little bigger, especially considering how the food is presented on big wooden platters.

My partner and I go here regularly and have never been disappointed .The meals are lovely and very reasonably priced .We have always found the staff very friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble .

80 year resurrection from 1933, reopened 2013, part of art deco Midland Hotel. For a hotel its a decent value menu and drinks, but main attraction is the incredible design of interior, circular bar, funky chairs, even toilets (see photo).
