Nice pub drawing a slightly more mature crowd. A good range of gins and some interesting guest beers (please get some IPAs!). Little garden outside and close to the railway station.

The Rose & Crown is my favourite pub in Godalming, it’s quirky, it’s fresh and it has a youthful vibrancy lacking in other local pubs. As a man in his thirties I’m still young enough to appreciate the exuberance of youth - a ‘Miami beach’ themed outside space in sleepy Godalming? Why the hell not! It manages to be eclectic and cozy at the same time and is equally at home being busy or quiet. They do Camden Pale Ale too, which I enjoy - I’d like to see a wider range of real ales but that’s a minor quibble. Perfectly located near the station for a post-work beer. Don Johnson would be proud.
