Rock Church is an inspiring place where the community comes together in faith and love. Its teachings and activities foster
I have nothing but love for this church. Like with anything you get back what you put in. We started going during the pandemic and although things were shut down, we were really drawn in by the messages we were hearing online. We reached out via email and checked out their website and attended church as things opened. We heard about a class for new attendees so signed up to attend. We met some lovely people there and were able to learn how to get connected and volunteer in different parts of the church. We filled out online connect cards and started receiving their weekly emails. Soon events started popping back up and volunteer requests came in and we raised our hands whenever we could. We're still making many connections, it's a very large community and we love everyone we've had the pleasure of meeting. Most importantly the Holy Spirit is palpable in this church body. There is no denying that if you enter into the service with an open heart to receive what God wants to speak to your heart, you will hear Him in this church. We are excited to see what God has in store for us here as we continue to attend and participate in this church family we've come to love very deeply. Thank you Rock Chuch for being incredible willing servants of our God.
Our church congregation meets there for April and May at 1pm. Thank you to Rock Church people for allowing us to use the facility.
If you're looking for a Gospel-centred, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church that loves people and reaches out into the community on a consistent basis, you've found a great one! I've been going here for 26 years my whole life and am so thankful for the incredible Church family that is Rock Church!
I had been looking for a church in Halifax for a while and I am so glad I found Rock church! It was a true house of worship to God, where the Holy Spirit was free to move and touch every heart. The service was well organized, everyone was friendly and welcoming and most importantly, God was the main guest! I felt free to deliver my personal service to God buy raising my hand, speaking in tongues and praying. Also, beautiful building with amazing facilities.
The Rock Church is another clear example as to why church is failing it’s community. I came in today looking to be connected to a men’s group that meet in and outside of church; basically hoping to find connection and a new place where I can make new friends and worship with new friends. I just recently moved to Halifax area, don’t really know anyone nor do I have strong connections in the area. I was hoping to make some strong connections. No one was interested in helping me get connected l, no one was interested in taking my contact information and maybe passing it on to one of the church leaders. This church has a failure in leadership and a failure to be proactive when someone reaches out. There was absolutely no finding community at this church. All I got were excuses as to why community is failing. I came with a need, was not heard and was pointed in a different direction and that direction was out the front door. No reason to come on a Sunday.

I love this church. I am encouraged in my relationship with Christ, every Sunday, and through the week too. If I'm sick or out of town, I catch the live stream on YouTube. If your soul seeks nourishment, let me personally invite you, dear review reader, to join us in worship.
