Story

The Rock Climbing Wall is situated with in the Leisure centre, on beach road in the beautiful village of Harlech.
We have 29 Lines of of top roping and leading on a unique and varied 11m wall, with a small dedicated bouldering area.

The wall will be have limited climbing on Friday every week during summer time. This is for route setting and wall maintenance. we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Brilliant place and great value- the instructor Luke was friendly and really knowledgeable. The pace of the session was spot on with a good mix of tech vocab, skill building and challenge. Eldest wasn't that confident to begin with but 5 minutes with Luke was scaling huge walls and loving it. We enjoyed just watching. Wish we lived nearer- we'd be here every week. Can't praise this centre enough, Harlech is really lucky to have it.

Huge thank you to Gerwyn Big G  Ed and Mickey for the fabulous introduction to climbing sessions you provided us with on Tuesday and today. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. You taught us so much in just the 2 sessions and we had a great time. We feel like we've caught the bug and are currently planning our next visit already. The pricing was affordable and excellent value for money. We can highly recommend to anyone in the local area and further afield we drove an hour especially for days when the weather isn't what you want it. Can't wait to visit again  from Emma and Ben

As a complete newbie to indoor climbing, I was made to feel very comfortable and enjoyed the vibe in the building.  There is definitely a very friendly atmosphere between staff and other users.  Spoke to a staff member called Ed last night, which was bouldering at the same time, was good to learn by watching more talented climbers on the wall and he also gave some good tips as well.  Anyway, feel very lucky to have this climbing wall in the area and filling it with friendly people is a bonus.

Great wall with lots of lines. Well thought out routes with variety. Autobelays too. A separate bouldering room.

Just had a taster session with Ed as an instructor. Ed gave us great support and tuition and we all felt we achieved so much. We were mixed ages and abilities  and we all had a lovely time.

Booked taster for 3 grandchildren, ages 7 10 11 They had a great experience Logan was v good, 1 grandson wasn't confident at the beginning however Logan coached him And he loved the climbing worth the money for the achievement you get!

Temporarily closed for maintainence but website says open... Drove over an hour to get here! Finally found a post a Facebook post on the leisure centre that said the climbing wall was also closed. Updated Google as other people were trying to get in also.

Fantastic place with a friendly atmosphere. Ed, the Manager made me feel very welcome and showed me the new Moon Wall, which I have to say is impressive. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Climbed here during my hols due to poor welsh weather.  Pretty good and bouldering room can give you a good workout. Some cool problems too.  Its a real pity its not used more often, I visited twice and never saw a single sole..

Brilliant hour with our guides Sam & Abbie. The children really enjoyed it. The hour was over far too quickly. Great centre and the kids had great fun.
