Really enjoyed my visit here. The lamb pie with mint was amazing – probably the best I’ve ever had! The coffee was great too, and the view of the castle made it even better.
We ordered the Carrot cake & Victoria sponge along with cappuccinos. Carrot cake was my fave! The cream in Victoria sponge was very sweet so couldn’t have much.nAlso had chips which were piping hot but needed salt. Good service and nice views
The Harlech castle cafe is located at visitor's centre just on the way out to the castle on the right hand side.nnIt is great place for a quick bite with good selection of home made cakes, breakfast, lunch menus and veriery of hot and cold drinks.nnThe food there is delicious, the views through the windows are beautiful and atmosphere so homely.nnThe staff is very polite and friendly.nnUnfortunately no dogs allowed in the cafe, only on the terrace.nnAlso, maximum 4 people per table.nnThe place is very covid aware.nnPay & display car park is just outside of the visitor centre for 30 spaces.
Wonderful food and home made cakes, and excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff here at the caffi Castell Harlech. And all with a stunning view of the castle
The views from this cafe are the best thing about it and the clear glass frontage gives you an excellent vista of the front of Harlech Castle. The food was OK. We both had cakes which were good but I had a decaf latte coffee which was weak and lacked flavour. It was busy when we visited and although the tables were quite quickly cleaned, the floor was littered with debris.
