The new owners have ruined this place. Bad attitude and only take cash - which sounds dodgy. Small chips with two shrivelled sausages from the heated display cabinet would have been £7.80. With small chips quoted at £2.80, that makes each sausage £2.50! Don't even warrant 1 star ...
I have lived in the area since 2009. I've never ever had to complain. Today was the worst. Boss man wasn't there. I asked for a large portion of chips and they gave me less than a small portion. I didn't realise until I got home. I will not return. I called to complain and they hung up. I've been a customer for over 10 years. The old employees were so much nicer. Never again
It the not same since Sean left. Just eat large meat and chips £11 no chance to order a small. What a shame been eating eating here for years.
The worst place you can go , the staffs or he’s the owner idk is very rude , they don’t accept card, the price of fish and chip is 6.90£ on the board and they tell me 9.90£ , no ambience , no greetings, no thank you, imagine you have to pay for ketchup and mayonnaise . The fish and chips was the worst I ever ate , and I am a pretty big fan of it . Absolutely don’t recommend neither delivery nor eat in . They even get upset when I tell them that I wanna eAt in and start talking in their language which I know they were talking about me . Please don’t waste your precious money by going there, the other reviews saying it’s a good place are just their families commenting to have higher star ratings.
Rubbish donner kebab I have tried it twice and actually so disgusting how they cook it . Stay away from this place and the staff is very rude . I don’t recommend this place to anyone
I paid £2.00 for a small portion of chips.The chips were delicious
Freshly cooked fish and a generous portion of chips. All cooked very nicely indeed. Very nice staff too! Well worth the visit!
I was racially abused and called a dirty somali upon entering, low quality chips with small portions, staff are horrible people with no care for others, too expensive for it’s quality. Overall review is that you should travel further if you want to enjoy your food and service

wanted to write a review since a while, have been to this place once randomly and many times ever since. now i try to put it in my way whenever possible. great quality food at the right price, owner's always in a good mood there to help sometimes he's singing too seems to be having much love for what he does and the fish n chips there rocks! cannot say enough i absolutely recommend this shop for eat in or takeaway. no matter what, go give this one a try definitely the right place!
