Got haddock fish and chips.  Quite disappointed as the fish was dry and there was more breading than fish.  Chips were ok.  Got charged extra for tartar sauce and got lemon juice from a bottle instead of fresh lemon wedge.  Won’t be coming back again.Food: 2/5

Terrible chips - worst I've ever had in a Fish & Chip shop in fact.  They tasted like oven chips dry as cardboard - as they were dry and luke warm the salt didn't stick hence flavourless cardboard anyone? Ketchup was cheap wholesale - didn't taste like ketchup at all  I won't be returning even if it was free sorry

I moved to Southfields 12 years ago and used to buy fish and chips, chicken nuggets and sometimes wraps here. The food quality was fine but went down over time. I stopped buying 3-4 years ago, today decided to get cod and chips on a whim - and again was very disappointed.  Michael owner - if you have any pride in this establishment, please listen to the customer feedback. So many negative reviews. Customers are telling you the chips are AWFUL today mine were very dry and bland, like the worst school canteen type of chips imaginable. If you’re not going to have staff actually cutting fresh chips like a REAL chippy, then at least change your supplier! I normally love chippy chips - but I threw half in the bin and I had to force myself to eat the ones I ate. The cod today was so thin too, compared to what I’d normally expect in a chippy, with thin batter that was soft and almost not at all crispy. And this cost £13?!  Some of the best chippies in the area are Seahorse on Garratt Lane and Fresh in East Putney. That’s the standard we need here. Delicious chips, crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside, that you can eat a bag of, on their own. Chunky, flakey cod with crispy batter.  This is my last time buying from here, unless I see an “under new management” sign. This place has been here a long time, but Southfields deserves better.  PS - In reply to the owner’s reply - it was a walk-up order, so there’s no order number. There’s nothing to discuss really - I think it’s clear what needs to be done.

Neha, Chef Vimal, I had the most amazing experience here at your restaurant. Very professional staff, so friendly, everyone with a smile on their face. But most importantly. I asked for a cheeseburger with chilli sauce. I got what I ordered. The veg was crunchy and fresh, red onion, lettuce, fresh,burger was medium done, I could taste the sauce, the burger, the salad,. Amazing,

I have been going here for over 15 years easily, Michael knows me very well. Food here is amazing, never disappointed, staff here are always friendly and polite, recommended items are the thick cod and chicken. As I go evenings, I always see saheed mainly, what a gent he is.

The service was very friendly and fast. I really liked the fish and chips with the curry sauce.Food: 5/5

Chips are awful. No way this is a traditional fish and chip place anymore, more of a cheap fried chicken place. Which is fine. But don’t say you do proper traditional chips if they’re just the cheap takeaway ones.
