Love the ridings.... real shame they want to bulldoze it... plenty of parking, inside shopping, close to wakefield city centre, been coming for 30 years... hope all the current vendors find somewhere better...

I have been a visitor to this centre for years, but I will never step foot in here again. The management is incredibly rude and has zero interest in helping genuine shoppers.nnThe parking system here is a total trap. They removed the old barrier system and replaced it with an ANPR 'pay-on-arrival' system that is designed to catch you out. I spent money at Marks & Spencer and tried to pay at the machine on my way out, but was still slapped with a £100 fine. Despite showing my M&S receipts, management was dismissive and unhelpful.nnThe centre itself is dated, grey, and feels like it’s stuck in the past. If you want a modern shopping experience with polite staff and—most importantly—FREE PARKING, do yourself a favor and drive the extra few miles to the White Rose Centre.nnThe Ridings seems more interested in ‘farming’ parking fines from its loyal customers than actually providing a good shopping experience. They have lost a long-term customer today. Avoid at all costs.

Been taken over by trinity walk BUT it is Still worth visiting, m&s, food section and supermarket on bottom floor, popular nail bar, cafes, Primark, cinema, cafes , games bar, coffee bar, juice bar, boots, bubble tea bar, pound shop, Holland and Barratt, superdrug, jewellery shops, clothes shops, phone shops .....plenty more.....

This shopping center is really nice and I usually come here for shopping. The overall vibe is okay and it’s a nice place to spend some time.nnHowever, unfortunately, the upper floor feels almost deserted, and very few people seem to visit it. It’s quite sad because there are businesses there that are still trying to survive despite the lack of customers.nIf you can, take a few minutes to check out the upper floor as well and support those businesses.

Best shop for vapes and eliquids in Wakefield, got a big range of flavours and prices are very good.
