Great room (102). Great venue. Portion control on meals a bit mean. Not enough for the price paid. Friendly staff. Hospitality in room bit soaring too. Not enough milk, tea or coffee. Heating on full blast ... so a bit too hot for me, and I like being warm!. Bar staff lacked service skills. No smile or acknowledgement. The girl also aerved 3 people before us even though they came after us. Even when we were the only ones waiting at one point too.!!!!.

Nice place. Good venue for events and functions. Staff helpful and friendly. Good facilities and decor too. Just a little moan about portions. I guess ok for a 3course meal but if you just want a main then I felt there could have been more food on the plate. Can't grumble about quality though, a really tasty meal.

Don't work for these people I was asked to do a trial shift on Sunday which I was told by one of the staff I would be payed for. However as I decided that it wasn't for me as evening hours weren't going to work around my little boy I was just brushed off and blocked from his email account as soon as I mentioned payment. The staff were rude and the place needed a good clean.When I arrived for my trial shift the man I spoke to wasn't even there and the lads working there didn't know I was coming.

Lovely,  comfortable hotel with spa, large family room,  on the edge of the canal.  Food was great,  restaurant overlooked the canal.  Bathroom could have done with updating a bit,  but other than that,  a wonderful hotel

Not too bad, room was a bit out of the way, but facilities were pretty good. In common with most hotels they need to review their plastic bag usage. Practically everything comes with bits of plastic, from toilet 'hygiene' seal to plastic cups wrapped in plastic bags, to plastic sealed biscuits, coffee, milk to plastic sealed butter and yoghurt for breakfast.
