Food was very expensive for what it was and the service was incredibly slow considering the place was only a quarter full, the staff were very friendly though.

Service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. We come here every time we visit meriden as it welcomes dogs in certain areas. They even asked if the dogs wanted ice in their water. Now you wouldnt get many hotels do that. Don't be put off by the stature of this place they are really friendly and welcoming.
