Excellent restaurant, atmosphere, food and service. Went with my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. She chose and booked- I simply paid. Always good food, great choice of starters to share for 2 and wide range of main events. To dessert or not, well you should try! One of my favourite eating places.

Went to celebrate my son's graduation from the University of Birmingham. In case you're wondering he got a very good degree and we are very proud of him. There were other diners who were also celebrating academic excellence which ensured a wonderful atmosphere. The food and wine was super as was the service. If in the area don't hesitate to visit.

Lovely meal as usual. Great service and a wonderful atmosphere. One of my all time favourite restaurants can't wait for my next visit.

Authentic feeling neighbourhood Italian restaurant. Serving a range of dishes. Soup of the day is varied, always excellent. Menu seems to change often enough not to get dull, but is stable enough to get something familiar looking. Wine is well priced, giving a good feeling when the bill comes - one wouldn't call Buonissimo cheap, but I've always thought it has a sound value proposition with friendly service and a warm welcome. Perhaps as a result tends to get busy at peak times so booking warranted. Offers early bird menu some evenings, with no apparent drop in quality. Lunch is also an enjoyable experience.

My partner and I went there last night for our 10 year anniversary. This is where we went on our first date. Amazing food, brilliant customer service. Friendly and a lovely atmosphere
