WOW, we took friends to The Red Lion last night and we all had a wonderful experience. Firstly, parking was easy. The staff immediately on walking in we're friendly and basically lovely. Drinks were excellent my wife tried a new flavour of gin, she enjoyed two! The food was just perfect. I had the Surf & Turf, the steak was blue/very rare and cooked perfectly, which is not easy, and plentiful. My wife had the Mexican Chicken Burger, it was beautiful too. The chips are special! All this for a very, very reasonable price too, just excellent. To top it off my car's battery died in the car park. The boss sorry didn't get his name gave me a jump start too. Thank you so much. We will be back very soon. Thank you all again.

Last nights we called for a meal and was very disappointed with the all the meals. The chips were  crispy and tasteless, and the childs meal lasagne was hard and lumpy, the gammon was nice but the onion rings were also greasy, the only good thing were the saute potatoes. No effort was made overpriced for what we had, will not be returning again and would not recommend to anyone

Really welcoming local pub. Nice selection of drinks available and food looked great. Suggest cooking as was really busy.  Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids in the pub eating with parents. Good high chairs available and nice child friendly menu

Excellent lunch today. Been ill for a month and was really craving their steak and ale pie, despite Huw almost giving me a heart attack by telling me they had none left very funny, you got me, I had my pie and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere great service and great food

The heart of our village. Great food, great people,  great atmosphere. Always perfect. Real Wales. Just gets better and better. Combines local pub hospitality with excellent food catering and total dog lovers  Parking: Terrific and free
