Been ordering on and off , not to often sorry to say but when it comes to a treat,or busy day, I will attend in person , I don't mind waiting at all, and to be honest when you are waiting, you hear the phone going on and on and on fair play. Great custom, I didn't think I waited that long again, but was given extras and there was no need at all! Fair play! I wouldn't recommend online ordering from obs and experience as technology fails! but telephone or in person is the best! As you can not go wrong! They are so busy on Saturday it's crazy! And the staff there do everything to satisfy customer! Food absolutely delicious so I don't care about 20min wait at all! You want it delivered, then you wait! I seen 3 men with bags full off food going out when placing my order and then phone calls asking where is my food! Stay sober and pick up yourself or bloody wait! It's worth it!
Delicious food but was missing a part of my order - the honey king prawns. Rung the shop & spoke to the receptionist to explain they’d missed part of my order, was told that it wouldn’t be delivered until a next available spot became available, told them I was not happy with this as it wasn’t made clear how long that would be. Said that I wanted a refund on the item if that was the case, they quickly changed their tune and told me that they would send it out straight away!? Delivery driver came to the door and said they count the order 3 times before it goes out to customers, which can’t be true as how did they forget that one thing? Made me feel like they thought I was lying about something being missing.
I'm not sure why we didn't know this place existed before now, but after the closure of two local Chinese Takeaways, we discovered New China Wok.nnWe are SO glad we did. The food is absolutely exceptional. The best Chinese takeaway I've ever had and there're been a lot . I particularly recommend the crispy honey beef.nnWe've eaten from here twice so far and both times the food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. I was wary of ordering online after reading some of the other reviews, but I was able to pay by card and our food was delivered quicker than the estimated time.nnWe are definitely going to be very regular customers!
Our 1st visit tonight! Definitely won't be our last! Ordered on their website for collection at 6.15. Had an email straight back to confirm and to say that it'd be ready for collection at around 6.30. Went to collect at 6.30 and was told my order was just being bagged up. Felt sorry for the poor guy behind the desk, dealt with at least 5 calls asking where they're food was and complaining it was late! My order was ready at 6.40. Only had to wait 10mins. The kitchen area looked manic!! The only negative was that part of my order was wrong!! I ordered a chicken curry but I had a tray of mushrooms instead!! Didn't bother going back as we had enough food in the order. The mushrooms were delicious!! as was everything else! Thank you.
Great food, great prices and great service. They were very busy and phoned in orders for collection were being given over 1 hr waits because of this but I just think it shows how good they are! They need more veggie/vegan options though.
