Claims to be dog friendly, don't be fooled it is not. Dogs are only allowed in the beer garden and considering the inclement weather these days, it's just not practicable. Don't waste your time, go to a true dog friendly venue, the William Morgan, Prestatyn. Good food, welcoming, great service and trulyndog friendly!
Thank you, Red Lion staff, my family and I spent a week in Meliden and dined with you 3 times and ordered a takeaway on our last night. A fabulous pub, with a huge menu, kind and friendly staff and a fabulous garden for the children to have fun in. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for yhe amazing staff. Thank you for helping to make our holiday memorable and fun
After been recommended by friend my wife and I both decided to try for Sunday lunch . We were greeted by lovely bar lady think Tracy was her name I was offered free bottle beer been fathers day . We both ordered 2 course meal and it was lovely also staff very Friendly and helpful. Definitely be back again for lovely food.
Myself and 2 friends stumbled across this gorgeous pub and well what a pub. We planned to just have a quick drink at lunchtime but loved it so much we booked and went back for dinner which didn't disappoint. The landlady and landlord were fabulous and very very friendly and chatty and really took time out to speak with us. All the staff were very friendly and brilliant at service.nThe food was fabulous. Would definitely recommend if your in the area. We will be back
Over an hour and half since order to receive our meals, sporadic delivery across the table with some finished before the later ones come out.nWaiting time at the bar was shocking, tend to serv the youngsters first.nMeals were lovely that's something positive.nShame as it used to be a great place.
