You need a big appetite! The food was lovely. I went as part of a staff party. We preordered our meas. I had the beef Wellington. It was lovely. However, not one piece but two. I did not have a starter which were huge and after my meal I was stuffed and satisfied. However I had forgotten I had ordered dessert! I could not finish that too. In fact t we all had two courses, and not one of us ate everything. Beautiful food, great service, reasonably priced but, and bear in mind I like my food, too much on the plate.

Excellent all round experience. Second visit here, definitely a third on the cards. Food well worth a tasting, though you'll need a big appetite. Second picture from previous visit, Thursday evening is Seafood Specials. This evening homemade Pie, perfect comfort food.Food: 5/5

came to the red house with my sister and some of her friends and had a lovely meal the the staff were really friendly and helpful got a good selection of wine and beers The menu is excellent plenty  Of good options All come Nice and fresh and hot  They have a good size garden at the rear and there are plenty of parking spaces A lovely proper British pub serving good food Would highly recommend  Parking: Easy free parking

Today it was my birthday, it is a very special day for me for many good reasons. They walked the extra mile and made even more special. Thanks so much for a lovely day.

I have not visited this pub before, it is one of the pubs on the list of The great British Inns, we had dinner here for my brothers birthday and I have to say it was absolutely delicious, all starters were generous, and each was individually presented beautifully, the mains were again cooked divinely and presented beautifully, no dessert had apart from the Birthday boy, as the food was so filling. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating, I have to say the teriyaki pork belly starter was cooked to perfection. Anybody who loves and appreciates food should definitely give this place a try, we will definitely return. Bravo to the chef. Great food.

So dog friendly, my new favourite local.  The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. I would definitely suggest you visit. Can’t wait to try the run bar and bbq.

Was here for a bike meet, including a HOG Roast and live music. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.  Food was great too with great portions  Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around looking at bikes etc and no issues were seen  Parking: Ample parking at anytime but this day was reserved for motorcycles as it was a bike meet.  Wheelchair accessibility: All is at ground level

Love the red house! Homemade beautiful food. We had the homemade pie and the lamb shank. Beautiful local ales and friendly staff

Booked table before hand Very friendly accommodating staff Clean tidy restaurant / carvery area Had the large plate carvery which was fantastic & one Hunters chicken off the menu Carvery had a choice of three meats, large selection of vegetables, sauces & gravy

Excellent carvery and service with particular praise for the veggie Wellington and veggie gravy that was ready to go. The staff were very attentive and looked after us and our dog very well. I also highly recommend the hot fudge Sunday. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
