I hadn't dined at The Real Greek for some years so I was overdue for another dining experience. I wasn't disappointed and I'm very much looking forward to going there again very soon. The staff were friendly and attentive, the waiting staff who served our table took time to answer our questions about dishes on the menu. Having recently become vegan, I had looked through the menu online before choosing it to dine with my BFF, and I was glad to see there were good options and that nothing has been taken off the menu. We were seated in the outer dining area which had nice and not too overpowering blue light which added to the ambiance. Our food arrived in a timely manner and looking very appetizing. Although the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, it soon quietened down so we didn't have to wait too long for our bill to come. We had a good time and I definitely won't leave it as long until my next dining experience. I'm still thinking about my meal there over a month later. Yummy!
We were so excited to try the real Greek but it was such a disappointment. We came with our baby, walked in and were greeted with smiling staff. First it felt very welcoming but as soon as we sat the first thing we noticed was the little bug on my plate pictures attached. I looked for the manager and he casually came by saw the plate picked up and walked away. There was absolutely no apology or regards, so we thought maybe they will address it later.. the food arrived and the lamb meatballs which arrived late were raw inside. Literally pink picture attached! We called the manager again and he comes and says can I get something else when we responded no he walked away and worked on our bill. For everything we went through we got a £6 discount which was literally the service charge waived! Anyways long story short bad experience and manager needs to work on Customer service! The rest of the staff was amazing.
I am very happy with this place and will definitely visit again many times. Great cuisine in a beautiful setting. Benefits include many healthy options and also great selections for vegetarians and vegans too! The prices, especially on the lunch menu, are really value-for-money. Vegetarian options: I was pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant also caters very well to vegetarians and vegans, with authentic vegetarian and vegan Greek meals that leave you totally satisfied. Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is good for families and the staff are friendly. Dietary restrictions: The staff are very mindful about allergies.
Great Greek food!! We went at lunch time and had the lunch time deal which I got a souvlaki wrap and a side - I specifically tried the lamb meatball wrap and new potatoes as the side which was great and very filling! This cost just under £9! When ordering off the full menu they offer a 25% discount for students! Recommended dishesNew Potatoes, Lamb Meatballs
Such a lovely place to spend evening! Delicious food, great service, everything seems so authentic, I felt a bit like in Greece! I cant really understand why other reviews are so bad or overal rating so low!!This place is just perfect!!! 10/10!!!
We bumped in for lunch while shopping and honestly, we just wanna go back anytime soon as their lunch vegan options are really good quality-price! Food was delicious and fresh taste! We had a vegan plate and was happy to get to try a bit of everything for the really honest price of 8£!!! Good job guys!Recommended
Popped in here for a quick lunch. The lunch time meal deal £8.75 was really good value. Very tasty and filling. Best of all was how quick the service was. You could easily eat here during your lunch hour Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options
A busy location set in the heart of the Westfield Centre Stratford. Having been to The Real Greek locations on the South Bank this one has a different feel, more commercial and didn't offer cheap the set price meze like the others. Nether the less the seating, staff and of course the food top notch. The you like Greek food this will be for you.
I had gone to real greek after many years , I had good memories of that time visit with my family. This time I had gone out with friends. We had ordered flat bread, hummus, tzatziki, saffron rice, halloumi fries, dolmades, falafel souvlaki, falafel, skewer halloumi, chickpeas triangles, tiropitakia. Chickpea triangles , flatbread, dolmades and falafel were decent with chickpeas triangles getting 10/10 as I found that dish to be the best of all Falafel souvlaki , saffron rice and halloumi skewer were highly disappointing. The staff let us talk and stay for longer, we indeed were quite loud that day and they didn’t complain as were in corner outside. We had good time, just a lil bit more alerrtness amidst staff in terms of refilling water, clearing empty dishes etc will be good.
Very very bad food, also waitress not intested. My advice stay away from this restaurant. Food quality is poor and quantites are for babies.
