Excellent Turkish restaurant. Lovely staff, great food and big portions ! We had the Lamb with yoghurt sauce, incredibly yummy and served with plenty of sides. Nice atmosphere too.
I had lamb doner and it was raw and had more nerve and fat then meat. They offer small or large. It was really small. I couldn't even eat quarter of it. Do they weigh the portion?
I was always told check the toilet cleanliness before eating in a restaurant. If the toilets are clean then you can be assured the kitchen will be, i will say no more with establishment. This place is Terrible, stay away and save your money. Tasteless lamb soup, lentil soup not much better, soggy salad that was well past its best and should never of been served. A brown colour salad is never a good sign. My partners tea was cold and she asked it to be removed from the bill, the manager claimed it was hot and refused to credit it and said no free drinks here. Very short sighted by the manager and goes without saying we will not return. My partner is Turkish so I've had plenty of experience with Turkish restaurants and this hands down is the worst. Now I know why it was empty when we arrived prime time at 7.30pm. If you want bad food, bad service, and arrogance then look no further. Bad value, worn out and dirty inside.
Visited Anatolia a number of times in fact for a lengthy period of time it was our favourite go to family restaurant. However I’ve noticed significant price increases for instance salmon used to be £7:50 then went up to £12 just after pandemic today it was £17. We didn’t get any complimentary items as is usually the case with many other Turkish restaurants I’ve dined in and believe you me I fully expected it given the menu prices that in my view are over priced. Service wasn’t the best neither. I think they are catering to the monied people amongst us certainly not regular customers. Sadly I won’t be eating there again…a shame really because I considered this restaurant to be one of the better Turkish restaurants in the area
Old school but Service is not included in the bill so leaving a tip for your server should you choose to eat in is good move. Luckily i was dining with someone who had cash so we were able to leave a tip. I know its not the common thing anymore to always carry cash and we thought a tip would be able to be added through the card machine. Prices are very fair and portions are great. We asked for meals that had no dairy or meat so were given the "vegetarian" option. When the food was brought over chilli and garlic sauce was given which again i had to ask "is there any butter, cheese or milk in it" to which the server said "dont have that one" but it was left on the table. The "vegetarian" option the server showed me was rice, salad and cooked mixed vegetables including potato, sweet peppers and okra cooked in a tomatoey sauce. All was tasty. I have eaten many a falafel wrap from here but never had a sit in meal. Topped up with hummus and Turkish tea we were good to go.
Service brilliant. I had kofta kebab and rice including salad My daughter had lamb chops rice and salad. Both meals were fabulous and you can get free table water. Altogether the Meal for two was £37.00 I will definately visit again.
I’ve been coming here for years and was in the area and thought I’d visit again. Great customer service - staff were attentive. The mixed grill was lovely and fresh - meat was succulent and juicy. Will definitely be returning again soon.
Best Turkish-Kurdish Restaurant in east London.. Grill chef his name Mamosh amazing man! Very delicious food. Thank you!
Horrible service, the waiters and owners were clearly making fun of me in Turkish because I asked if I can take out the order. Very rude people, with no sense of hospitality. The food was terrible, the kebab tasted weird and was super fatty/oily. Overpriced for nothing.
Been here twice now as my go to cheap and cheerful neighborhood feed. There is usually plenty of tables available and service is friendly. I always get the mixed meze plate to start and the mixed grilled for 1 can be easily shared by 2. Mains also come with bread and a plate of salad so be sure to make tummy and table space. There is usually always enough leftovers to be taken home.
