The RE is a good value contemporary purpose-built hotel that is a popular alternative to better known London chains. The 178 rooms are modern and functional with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Nearby is trendy Broadway market with its organic food stalls, pubs and shops; London Fields with its open-air lido and Columbia Road flower market. Excellent, spacious rooms, very friendly and efficient staff. Great venue for business.
Although the stuff is really friendly is not a 4 star hotel...The rooms are a bit "old", small and the beds are not really comfi. One of the best things is the location, 5 min walk to Broadway Market.
Brilliant 1 night stay at this surprisingly nice hotel, i say surprisingly as when i stayed in Hackney the accommodation was slightly different! After leaving i realised i had left my phone in the room. 1 call to Robert and it was found and ready for collection. Comfy beds, good service and a good ambience!
Nice hotel, room was spacious and comfortable, staff were friendly and efficient. I had an enjoyable stay. The neighbourhood is a quiet but interesting multicultural spot. Brick Lane is a 15 minutes walk away if you are after amenities and restaurants.
Stayed for 2 weeks on business. Very average on hospitality. The folks at the front desk seldom smile and seem surly all the time....like they don't want you bothering them about anything. Rooms very average. No proper equipment in the gym. No complimentary still water given. An overall poor experience.
