I visited The Range Ballymena to return several items and left extremely disappointed by the behaviour of management.nnTo begin with, the customer service assistant was excellent — patient, polite, and professional throughout. Unfortunately, this was completely undermined when a manager became involved.nnThe manager’s approach was unnecessarily interrogative and, at times, outright condescending. I was repeatedly questioned about why I was not returning the items to the original store, despite being told this was not an issue. The inconsistency and tone felt deliberately difficult rather than helpful.nnMore concerning was being questioned about why I had purchased the items in the first place, with comments that implied dishonesty. This was both inappropriate and unprofessional. Customers should not be made to feel as though they are being accused of lying over a straightforward return — especially when items are unused, with tags and receipt present.nnThe interaction was uncomfortable, dismissive, and entirely avoidable. It reflects poorly on management standards and creates an unpleasant experience for customers who are simply trying to follow store policy.nnA clear contrast exists between the professionalism of the customer service assistant and the conduct of the manager. One upheld the brand; the other undermined it. Disgusting.
Tidy, plenty of parking.nNew self service tills.nFriendly staff.nNice mid ranged price items.nGreat for ideas, arts and crafts.nDog friendly.nNice cafe and clean toilets.
After a 10minute wait in the queue the teller charged me for 7 items instead of 6. When they processed the refund I was told it could take up to 14 days for the money to hit my account.nn14 days for an error they made? Their online customer service is appalling.
Another typical Range store with plenty of variety. Unfortunately, the Ballymena garden area was disappointing as most plants lookee dead & a lack of staff to care about their conditions.
Amazing store with everything you could want. Staff so helpful. Garden centre amazing and so tidy. Been in loads of multi stores and this one beats them all
