We popped in on boxing day as recently moved here. Really lovely atmosphere and friendly lady serving us. Our Sunday lunch food was amazing. Very generous portions, best lunch we have ever had.nCan't wait for the pub to reopen after their break.nWe will definitely be back.
What a wonderful experience at the Rams Head! We came for a roast with our 11 month old and our lab. Delicious dinner, the staff even made up a tiny roast and a dessert for our little one plus a small plate of meat for our dog! We were made to feel so welcome and all the staff we met were absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back. Thank you from the family with the fangy baby!
Having a lovely stay staff really helpful even going to the trouble of booking us a table at another restaurant as theirs was busy. We shared a home baked French baguette for a snack and it was absolutely superb.
Me and my dad came here for our dinner after an exhausting day. The food was amazing and so were the drinks.waiters and bar tender were very nice. One top tip would be food in time by a bit. Except from that absolutely brilliant pub.
Overall nice experience, food was nice and came out reasonably quickly. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Great playlist on.nSadly the last 2 occasions the female bar tender/ waitress has been pretty abrupt and not really made us feel very welcome. We let it go the first time but clearly it wasn’t a one off. It ruined an otherwise nice vibe.nAs a local and fairly regular customer it’s disappointing and a little embarrassing as we brought visiting friends with us.
