The staff are superb and look after you like nowhere else, and have time for a word and to make you feel at home and looked after. They can't do enough for you.nThe food is excellent, and unlike many pubs/restaurants these days all cooked from scratch.nThe room prices are very reasonable and probably reflect the fact that the location is inland so you are likely to need to do a fair bit of driving, but it's one place you can get to both Dartmoor and Exmoor without too much bother. Do go!!!!
Fantastic place to visit for food and drinks. Extremely friendly and the service was brilliant.nWe ordered topside beef and a lamb roast dinner and i have to say the meal was cooked and presented to perfection. The cost of the meal was cheap for everything that came. We would definately recommend this establishment. Thankyou for a beautiful meal
A hidden gem in the heart of Dolton, divine coffee, unbelievable carrot cake and a roast dinner to die for, what more can we say, we made 3 x visits during our stay in Dolton and sat in front of an open wood burner... Heaven.
We dropped in for an early Subday roast and were made to feel very welcome! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food and an overall really pleasant experience. We’ll be back!
On the whole, lovely location, quiet, local feel and locals very welcoming.nnStaff fantastic, very welcoming, made to feel at ease and fast service!nnBreakfast very nice and staff was willing to get extra items from the local store.nnRooms lovely could use some redecorating but the beds were not quite comfortable to lay upon but this is my personal opinion.nnWould happily stay again in the future!!nn8/10
