Great friendly staff, cheap drinks as per usual for a Joseph Holt pub. Shows all the main supporting events. You can order pizza from Prove across the road from your table and it's brought straight to you. You'll spend ½ what you would in The Metropolitan across the road.
The staff who work here are the nicest staff I’ve ever met. We had trouble with our pizza order and the women working on the bar went and sorted it for us, she was so nice, she needs a raise and a hug she was so nice! Also when we turned up the staff were really accommodating trying to find us a table and were really considerate of the disability access!
Good pub, good choice of local beer and friendly staff. Oh and very good prices. Worth a visit.Service: 5/5
The staff in The Railway are amongst some of the best I have ever met. Extremely friendly and genuine. The pub is nice and the prices are good. Far better than The Met.
The new management are so friendly and welcoming. Great selection of beer and just a lovely, cosy pub. It's nice to see they have lots going on. The atmosphere is great.
We popped in for a drink a few weeks ago after a walk and were all welcomed. Think there were about 30 of us spread throughout the pub.Service: 5/5
Always loved this place because aswell as excellent beers and good service there has always been a good mix of customers. I don't like places that are skewed towards a particular type or age of customer. Railway ticks that box.Service: 5/5
A QUIZ LIKE NO OTHER perfect pacing number of rounds, breaks, and so on engaging picture rounds plenty of imagination unassuming no pyrotechnics or audio rounds requiring too much concentration Atmosphere and soul in abundance
Brilliant pub with the best staff around. Warm and friendly atmosphere, dog friendly, and you can get pizza in from next door! What more could you want. Pop in if you haven't yet.Food: 5/5
Best pub in Didsbury! Awesome staff and always friendly people to meet. Tuesday's quiz is a lot of fun and the drinks are very reasonably priced for the area. Definitely worth a visit Service: 5/5
