Lovely place to stay. Great staff and good food. The deco is so interesting and well thought out. The shed is a nice touch at breakfast. The only down side is that in the cold weather the room i was in was cold even with the heating on the highest setting.

Nice place though a bit remote. Room nice quality and comfortable. Restaurant food did not live up to expectations. The cod batter was inedible overcooked on outside but vastly undercooked on inside. Cod itself was full of bones . Would we stop again proberly no.

Cake at the Shed was mediocre at best. Lots of places do nice coffee but good cake takes skill. On both visits, the cakes have been dry and bland. They’re stored on slates usually with no cover, so I guess it’s inevitable. However, good coffee shops abound in and around Minchinhampton, so for me, 2 attempts is all the Ragged Cott Shed is going to get from me. It simply isn’t worth it. Such a shame as the food and drink in the main house are always very good indeed.

Nice rustic setting. A bit pricey but food was extremely good and log fire was nice.

A real fire. Friendly staff. Great food and fine ale. I couldn't fault this place. If you get the chance, do pop in for a pint and a plate.
