Great place to eat if you are in Warwick area. Delicious food with a great variety of vegetarian options and a large selection of beer. Truly recommend.
Recently rebranded and full refurb to No 34. It’s next to no 32 However great job. Breakfast was good and the staff were super helpful. Waited with blue hair on point and Indian gent Apols if not Indian! was super polite and friendly. Great spot. Great balcony. Summers coming. Get there. They still kept the horse! Was going to give 4 That’s unfair. Keep up the good work team 34.
First time I have eaten since the new owners took over. Food was excellent, the service was great, efficient, but not pushy. Well priced . Refreshing to get decent food at a good price , with happy well trained staff . Would recommend, and will certainly be going back soon.Food: 5/5
Myself and my family went to the Racehorse to try the carvery on Sunday. It was delicious. Plenty of options and the food was hot. My children had the kids menu as well. They had lots of choice and the portions were a good size. The staff were all very friendly, it was very busy but it was good to see the racehorse busy again. The carvery is great value and thr puddings were good value too. We will be back again
Went to meet an old work colleague, on her recommendation, easy to find and looked great from the outside. Attentive staff and great selection of ales lagers snd drinks, my first pint not so good but replaced without any fuss. Extensive choice of dishes available with a range of cuisines, excellent bangers and mash with some lovely veg and onion rings and my burger was more than acceptable, always a good indicator, burger juicy, plenty of additions, and tasty. Young staff were excellent and made sure we were well looked after, busy but not overly so which suited, our order served in a reasonable timeframe. Plenty of options to sit and as well……. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent food with a lovely atmosphere. Felt like old times againFood: 5/5
I booked a table in the restaurant for Sunday Lunch. On arrival we were seating in the bar area, the waitress put on menu's on the table and said 'when your ready go to the bar' . I was a little shocked as I had expected waitress service only to be told by another young lady walking past who was more then helpful and very very polite this is the bar you have to order at the bar. 1 Star Down. We had the Carvery, as the picture on Facebook and on the website looked really good. I had the beef which was beautiful and tender, just melted. My Husband asked for the Beef and the Turkey but was handed a plate with Beef , Turkey and Gammon the Gammon seemed fatty so he didn't eat it as they were busy and my Husband is to Polite he just took the plate and said thank you . The Roast Potatoes and Yorkshire puddings tasted like they were from the freezer, cauliflower was under cooked and all other veg left a lot to be desired. The Spoons for the veg were hot and I had to use a napkin. The Gravy was perfect. 1 Star Down. The décor and the Atmosphere of the Race Horse was spot on and the beer was hit the spot. The young lady that came to our table was really nice and was very apologetic and only wanted to help to make our lunch more enjoyable. Over all I would go back for a night of beer drinking. I would consider trying food from the menu next time but not Carvery.
Second time I've visited the Racehorse, and once again they've surpassed all expectations. We were well looked after by the entire team and served promptly with a warm welcome. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with generous portions. The bar was well stocked with a great selection of wine, spirits and beers on tap, with a diverse cocktail menu which I enjoyed trying. I can't wait to visit again.
A pleasantly decorated pub with a warm atmosphere. Staff were friendly and jovial. Good coffee, hot chocolate and real ale served. I didn't eat here so can't comment on food, but definitely recommend having a drink here.Service: 5/5
We visited the Racehorse last night for the first time and were impressed with the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the portions were generous. The decor was also nice, and the toilets were clean. We are looking forward to visiting again on Mothering Sunday.
