Really friendly landlady. A real ale pub, really well kept cask ales. Black Sheep, Pedigree and Courage went down well. Took our own food, children loved the 2 pub dogs, open fire and a collection of gollies.

Warm welcome cosy & friendly.
Great food last night at the Peacock. Can highly recommend the 2 for 1 burger special . The food was excellent, 6 of us all had a fantastic meal served with a smile . It couldn't have been nicer....thank you Very much p.s I'm not sure where the 4 rating came from. .easily a 5

Not made to feel welcome at all. A smile might help! Selling multipack cans of coke separately at an extortionate rate. Very run down and dated. Won't be back
An unfriendly welcome doesn’t come close to the welcome you are given when you visit this pub. If you have kids with you forget it the staff seem allergic to them.
