Recently had a revamp which now gives a lovely feel to the place. Two covered outside smoking areas, and outside bar for summer months, and childrens play area.
Still got a great selection of Real Ales that are well kept.

A real authentic old canal-side pub that is run by the owner, and you can certainly tell! Brilliant range of real ales, craft beers and a wonderful selection/variety of top shelf spirits. Bit cramped inside (which adds to its atmosphere) and extensive outdoor facilities (canal moorings, beer garden, playgrounds and covered areas). Always something happening for all the family (BBQ etc) and, of course, good meals are available. The premier pub of Congleton! Always busy! Try it!

Lovely food service a little slow but well worth the wait chips were wonderful. Only thing it lacks is a baby change area.

Great home cooked food, great service. A welcome change to the ping cuisine of many pubs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Queen's Head to friends.
