Wonderful atmosphere with live musicians in the background. The afternoon tea itself was very elegant and the waiters and waitresses were attentive. Make sure you ask for special deitary requirements as they will accommodate these if possible (even if not on the menu). Overall it was a lovely experience.

Lovely location for a cream tea and reasonably priced for a standard tea. The food is nice, not necessarily mind blowing but the lovely music, beautiful room and steaming baths just outside make for a really nice afternoon out. The staff were friendly and service was quick despite the number of full tables they had. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were fresh and very tasty. If you are able to it’s worth booking ahead to avoid waiting.

We somehow cheekily got a table on bank holiday weekend - on a Sunday afternoon which was fully booked ! We hadn't reserved and it only took 15 minutes for us to be seated - first win!! Food was amazing !!! They did roast beef with radish on this special two course menu - and the starters was more beef with oxtail and this stuffed potato - similarly delicious. Both courses were high quality and a great advertisement for British food which I am normally not terribly find of. I was pleasantly surprised. The carrot soup starter was also delish ! - second win !! The place is awesome - spread out, relaxed and quite pretty - almost like a wedding venue! - third win!! We had a tour leaving shortly after and the waitress was kind enough to get us our food as soon as and settle the bill pretty quick - great service! - fourth win!! The icing on the cake was the pianist - wow !! She came in as soon as we sat down and played some amazing tunes ranging from Ludovico Einaudi passagio, Disneys colours of the wind, to Abba and seal. - fifth win!! And that's why you get five stars pump room. You can't miss this place when in bath !!

Bit of a 20 minute wait. However the atmosphere is refined. High ceilinged with live classical trio, piano, cello and violin playing waltzes and similar. Nice starter of glazed goat salad or soupy crutons followed by haddock fishcakes with mushy peas and more salad veg. Looking forward to the dark chocolate rice puddings. Very smartly dressed waiting ppl. Very pleasant overall. Top spot for a lunch.
