Loved this place. Amazing Ambience, delicious food. The risotto was the best along with the steaks. Date pudding was awesome. Had one of the best Passion fruit mojitos. We were a big group of 9 adults and 8 children. The staff was amazing especially the Kenyan guy with Specs. Simply excellent place and food.
This is my second visit to have afternoon tea in 5 years. I chose this place as I recall the beautiful decor, excellent service and tasteful afternoon tea. I have had afternoon tea in many venues and, in my opinion, this is my favourite! I bought my mother for her birthday and she loved the whole experience. They have recently reopened after a renovation and the furnishings and decor are very tasteful. All of the staff were very pleasant and presented themselves proudly as members of such a prestigious venue. There were two staff members in particular that made our experience feel very personalised and unforgettable - Michele and Lucas. They were both very professional and friendly, please do pass on our thanks to them! The afternoon tea itself was delicious! You can order top ups of sandwiches, teas and cakes as you wish. We asked for a halal option this was catered for with no problem at all. The current price of afternoon tea is around £95/person non alcoholic. Yes, it may be on the higher end of afternoon tea’s in London however the whole experience, from the staff to the decor to the delicious food, is what gives it it’s value. Thank you again.
Loved the whole afternoon tea dining experience... Eat as much as you like... No rush for you to leave... Friendly staff... Food halal.... Well worth the money
We have visited this place many times for its legendary afternoon tea before the renovation work started, and to this day, nothing beats it. By far the best sandwiches and pastries, staff are attentive and kind, but not unnecessarily “posh”. We cannot wait to visit the new Promenade!
Absolutely wonderful! Went there for afternoon tea. Good selection of everything. Beautiful decor, nice and cosy atmosphere with the piano playing in the background. Excellent service and friendly staff. I will definitely re-visit.
Afternoon Tea was phenomenal, the service was second to none. We arrived late yet were not rushed off our table. Assam Gold tea and the Vanilla black tea were on point.
Elegant interior, relaxing atmosphere for afternoon tea. The Dorchester Hotel is right by the Easy side of Hyde Park. Good afternoon tea place after a walk in the park. £60 per person for traditional afternoon tea and £70 per person with champagne.

Breakfast and lunch were fabulous! I had some pastries and the smoked salmon, cream cheese bagel. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere very relaxed. The venue is gorgeous and every detail taken care off. A very pleasant location to treat yourself and your beloved ones. One of my favourite spots in Mayfair.
