The Premises Studios

Rehearsal Studios

The Rehearsal Studios all feature air-conditioning & central heating, natural light, quality Mackie PA systems, Sennheiser mics and CD players. Mirrored walls and dance floors available.

Recording Studios

There are two Recording Studios at The Premises: Studio A is fully solar powered and features the new SSL AWS900 console with a Pro Tools HD2 192 rig; and Studio B – the Trident mixdown room.

Solar Powered Studio A

With more and more artists becoming eco-aware it was only a matter of time before a fully-fledged eco studio became a reality. Studio A is the first solar powered professional recording studio in Europe. The most popular recording studio in London El Pais newspaper.

The Premises Cafe

The Premises Cafe opens daily at 8am serving continuously from breakfast through to dinner to 11pm. Fresh menu from 5.30pm with fabulous Turkish Mangal Grills, Daily Specials and Salads.
Fully licensed, with a good selection of wines, beers and spirits.
Closed Sunday evenings only.

These studios were amazing for us. My team used their small studio 6 for a new musical rehearsal which went perfect. The team were really helpful as well. The only thing to be aware of at least for studio 6 is that it is not completely soundproof and we could regularly hear drums throughout the day at a very different tempo to our own music which was slightly off-putting however not everyone is going to have that issue depending on the studio they hire and the schedule of their studio neighbours. Overall very happy and will hire again!!!
We had a blast recording my album at The Premises. Jack our engineer was absolutely brilliant and was so accommodating! The facilities are fantastic and the cafe attached serves great food!! Will definitely be back!

Excellent studio. Great sound. This is a truly professional venue. The staff is proud to work there. They go the extra mile to make you happy. We had 4×10hrs/day recording sessions in Studio A. We recorded with very unusual material and had one day mixing - another one due next week due to the amount of material to go through. Neal the engineer is extremely competent et fast. Evie his assistant is charming and efficient. A very good experience in a spacious studio where you have loads of natural light and a good restaurant as part of the complex. Brilliant!
Great set of rehearsal and recording studios in varying sizes suitable for solo artists to large ensembles. Good discounts on rehersals for members also.
Awesome! the studios are great, good staff always helpful and full of smiles. Really nice environment to jam and rehearse.
Sadly, I always have to deal with this sarcastic, impatient person at the reception. I had a phone call that lasted less than three minutes, and was seconds away from booking a studio, and essentially, he was telling me to hurry up to spell the band name—the reason why I spell it out for them is because they always spell it wrong on the board when we arrive. Every. Single. Year.

Fabulous staff, often exceedingly high quality equipment, and a seriously handy little café accessible through a connecting door. Very good time spent there. Book in advance.
