Food is nice, got that traditional whetherspoons vibe going for it. Gets extremely busy on a Friday and Saturday night so just be mindful when choosing this place. Service has been quite fast for me, found the steak hard to eat as it was quite chewy, but all the other food I've had has been great.

A modern spoons with all you'd expect from the chain. We came very early for a breakfast and coffee. Nice staff and the food was cooked to perfection for us, though the beans are very bland these days. My only annoyance was that even though this is a modern building, some of the fixtures looked very poorly fitted and there were bits of unfinished maintenance like holes filled but not painted and the bathroom walls not cleaned all the way down which looked a bit .nnOn the plus side, the Toilets were within line of sight of the bar and didn't require satnav and an oxygen mask to reach so top marks for that!
Called in for breakfast about 9am on a Thursday morning, we both ordered the 'traditional' breakfast, it was pretty quiet and was served quite quickly. Unfortunately when the breakfasts came they were almost cold. The fried egg was completely cold. I told a member of staff and they took them away and brought us fresh ones, however even though they were warmer the eggs were solid and the bacon crisped, which I suppose was better than cold !nI know they are only £5.99 but you expect them to be at least hot.
A very typical Wetherspoons with the usual selection of cheap drinks and food. Good real ale selection. Msdge bought me a pint of Yorkshire Heart blond. Even cheaper with a CAMRA 50p off voucher. Short walk from the town centre.
