A brilliant hidden gem. The staff behind the desk were very welcoming and provided us with the history of the library. There's also a lovely little cafe.

Lovely place to stop for a break,  or to come and read or do research.  Very friendly staff makes you feel at home.

A little known hidden gem, well worth the trip, an incredible private library with a vast array of texts.  Even the architecture and decor of the building is stunning

This library is tucked away and can be hard to find. I've visited mainly during open days and art exhibitions (held in the central cafe / gallery area). The rest of the building is not accessible to the public since it's a members only library - but anyone who is interested can apply. The interiors are lovely and it's worth a wander.

Friends from London were visiting me, so I brought them to see some beautiful pieces of art. Quite extraordinary colours! We were so impressed. We will never forget this amazing experience.
