Highly recommended, quirky and good value real ale pub. A real social hub for locals but beryl welcoming to all. Gets very busy of a weekend and does a strong trade in food (which is reportedly good, though I've not tried it personally). Always has an excellent selection of beers and offers 1/3 pint taster flights at a very reasonable £3.40 a time.

Great traditional Pub a lot of interesting old artefacts in passageway to toilets. Good wellpriced food and friendly staff.

Nice local pub. Good choice of beers. I like the hand towels in the restrooms rather than air dryer.

It was Pie and Pub night so we decided to give it a go. Lovely fresh food hot and tasty and the waffle pud was to die for! Good service, friendly staff. Will defo return
