Very accommodating landlord who can't do enough for you. He runs a nice clean pub and makes a great effort to discourage the riff-raff. We had my mom's funeral there and they were really helpful. Recommended!

Had a lovely 3 course meal..with a j20 for around £6. Prawn cocktail...hunters chicken and apple crumble and custard..all delicious. Very cosy pub too.

Funeral wake food spread was very good, tea, coffee and 1or 3 reasonable ale's on. But when my time comes it's going to be a Bathams pub with a spread without salad, celery, vol-au-vents, quiche. But with an Irish potato drink on sent over the water to get things warmed up and swinging, due to the fact XXX won't be on. This will be provided free of charge if I can fix it. Message to Daniel and Steve, It should get through customs as medication and if you're over 60 you don't pay for prescriptions, you may need glasses for a few days after, hopefully there will be someone there to entertain
