Excellent food - great exciting taste including veggie options brunch and dinner options. Wonderful relaxed but special atmosphere. Super friendly, motivated and helpful staff who go above and beyond. Highly love and recommend every time.
Absolutely incredible food. Best beef Sunday Roast ever, honestly. Beautiful, high-standard of decor and surroundings. Absolutely lovely service. Mildly annoying to not have a car park of their own - but there are many other car parks around. Above all: STUNNING food.Service: 5/5
Bistro style pub. Gorgeous outside space with lovely lights and cosy alcoves for catching up with family & friends etc. Outside heaters which are great when the temp drops. Great mid week offers on food! Lovely atmosphereService: 5/5
Had a Sunday roast with a large group of people. The table service was very good. I didn’t feel there were enough vegetables to share and the food was cold - a shame as the food was good quality.
The staff were not keeping up with waiting on tables, and it was not particularly busy. After I'd finished my drink, it took 20 minutes for someone to take my food order. The food was lovely, and the drink was too. It then took half an hour after finishing eating to get a bill, which would have taken longer if I had not gone and stood by one of the waiters' computers.
Visited for the first time last evening for casual meal. Really enjoyed it. Attractive pub. Relaxed atmosphere. Good meal & drinks. Very good service from motivated staff. Think manager looked after us & he was very professional & friendly. Worth visiting.Service: 5/5
Went to The Plough with my family for dinner on Friday and we could not have had a better experience. Top quality food in a really beautifully decorated space, only topped by the standard of service. Shout out to Tom and Stella for their efficiency , attentiveness and welcoming attitude. We enjoyed so much that we were back next morning for a delicious brunch. Highly recommended gastro-pub. And if you are a Euros footie-fan, you are spoiled by well placed large screens both inside no sound and in the very charming beer garden. Food & drinks: Excellent modern menu. Quality and quantity match the prices. Amazing home made breads and accompaniments the best mushy peas I’ve ever had!!
Arrived for the first time, had a push bike with me and asked the manager James for permission to bring the push bike into the garden, he then rudely come into my personal space, touching my chest to chest attempting to open the remaining door as they were just opening the premises at 8:30am. I was shocked and really upset that he intruded my personal space to begin with, then when I asked for directions into the garden area he did not give the correct directions and assumed I knew where I was going, In his words 'around there'. I then asked for his name and what his position was at the pub, he was reluctant to give me his full name and instead only provided me with his first name and job title, he first responded with 'who are you' then eventually after a few attempts provided me with the details. I was appalled with this behaviour and would recommend to stay clear of management at this pub. Not welcoming and very hostile!
Had a delicious Sunday lunch here. The beef was great with plenty of trimmings. Would definitely have the same again. All staff I came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Lovely evening! Came here last night for belated Birthday meal with a friend. On arrival, as it was my Birthday celebration, I got a glass of prosecco which is a really nice gesture. We were seated and the waitress bought over a glass of water for the table. Drinks order was taken quickly and when the Drinks were bought out, we ordered food. We both had the Cuban sandwich with fries chicken and it was amazing! Service was quick and the food was hot and fresh. The Paprika sauce that came with it was lovely! Overall, a lovely evening and I would highly recommend! Great value for money and all the staff were great. I will definitely be returning soon!
